Directeur des Travaux Publics / Public Works Director

Grand-Sault – 11 janvier 2022. La ville de Grand-Sault est fière d’annoncer la nomination de Patrick Daigle au poste de Directeur des Travaux publics.

Détenteur d’un diplôme en technologie du génie civil et à l’emploi de la ville de Grand-Sault à titre de technologue depuis juin 2021, Patrick Daigle devient le nouveau directeur des Travaux publics. Ses connaissances dans le domaine des travaux publics, son savoir-faire et son leadership seront certainement des atouts qui lui permettront de rencontrer les exigences de ce poste. En plus de son bagage de connaissances dans le domaine technique, Patrick détient également de l’expérience en gestion du personnel et en administration, ayant été à la tête des arbitres pour le hockey mineur de Grand-Sault de 2018-19 et ayant agi à titre d’entraîneur adjoint pour le club de hockey Masculin de la Polyvalente Thomas-Albert de 2013-2021. Son autonomie, son sens de l’initiative et son esprit d’équipe lui permettront sans doute de relever les défis et de connaître du succès dans ses nouvelles fonctions.

De son côté, le directeur général par intérim, M. Éric Gagnon exprime que Patrick aura à jouer un rôle majeur au niveau de la gestion et de l'entretien des infrastructures municipales et de la voirie. Il saura relever les défis et diriger le service des travaux publics à la hauteur des attentes du conseil municipal et des citoyens.

Grand Falls – January 11th 2022. The Town of Grand Falls is proud to announce the appointment of Patrick Daigle as Director of Public Works.

Holder of a degree in civil engineering technology and employed by the Town of Grand Falls as a technologist since June 2021, Patrick Daigle becomes the new Director of Public Works. His knowledge and skills in the field of public works along with his leadership will be assets to meet the requirements of this position. In addition to his background in the technical field, Patrick also has experience in personnel management and administration, having led the Referees for Grand Falls Minor Hockey Association from 2018-19 and serving as an assistant coach for the PTA Élites Hockey Club from 2013-2021. His autonomy, sense of initiative and team spirit will undoubtedly allow him to meet the challenges and reap success in his new role.

For his part, the town’s interim general manager, Éric Gagnon, states that Patrick will play a major role in the management and maintenance of municipal infrastructure and roads. His knowledge and strong work ethic will allow him to meet challenges and lead the public works department in line with the expectations of the municipal council and citizens.
